Nataly Linares, bass
From Bogotá, Colombia, Nataly delved into music at 18, specializing in Double Bass. After Central University in Bogotá, she earned a Master's in Double Bass from the University of Houston with Dennis Whittaker.
Her teaching journey started with Batuta National Foundation, instructing children in Cello/Double Bass. In Texas, she expanded her impact as a Double Bass/Cello teacher across districts like Houston and Katy. For six years, she taught at Cinco Ranch Conservatory of Music.
Since 2020, Nataly has been part of the "Festival Internacional de Contrabajo Infantil," collaborating globally. She contributes to the ISB International Society of Bassists, focusing on young bassists. Her musical journey includes orchestras like Orquesta Sinfónica de Bogotá and ensembles like Bayou City Bass Quartet.
Nataly excels as a music teacher and freelance musician, blending Suzuki's philosophy into her dynamic approach.
